By using Purelyst, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Service

Purelyst is a food safety tool intended to assist users in identifying potential allergen risks. It is not a medical device and should not replace professional medical advice. Always verify allergen information with product manufacturers when in doubt.

2. Accuracy of Information

Purelyst relies on product databases and user-provided data. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that product information is complete or up to date. Users with severe allergies should always read product labels directly.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country (16 in some EU member states) — to use Purelyst.

4. Safe Circles

By joining a Safe Circle, you agree to share your dietary verdicts (safe / caution / not safe) with circle members. You control what is in your dietary profile. Circle admins can remove members at any time.

5. Subscriptions

Purelyst offers Individual and Family subscription plans, each starting with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchase. All subscription management, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

Purelyst is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
